BEAUFORT, South Carolina – Knight’s Redi-Mix announced the acquisition of Lowcountry Concrete, a family-owned concrete supplier in Beaufort and Jasper County, on Friday, July 30, 2021. Through the acquisition, KRM is gaining two dry-batch plants in the area. “Connecting our existing Charleston locations to our new locations in Savannah, Lowcountry Concrete is perfectly situated to help us continue growing our footprint and better serve our customers throughout the Southeast,” Pete Knight, CEO, says. Knight’s Precast Manager Earns Master Precaster Designation

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana ─ Brad Reynolds earned the title Master Precaster during the National Precast Concrete Association’s 2021 The Precast Show in New Orleans, Louisiana. Reynolds received a plaque and gold safety helmet during an awards luncheon Thursday, May 20. Reynolds is a Plant Manager with Knight’s Precast in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Master Precaster is an intensive training program for professionals in the precast concrete industry. Participants complete in-person and virtual education on production, safety, technical, quality control and leadership. COLUMBIA, South Carolina ─ By refurbishing its Irmo Plant and erecting a new dry batch plant in Lexington, South Carolina, Knight’s Redi-Mix is preparing for more growth in the Midlands Market. In 2017, Knight’s Redi-Mix received the Irmo Plant through the acquisition of Palmetto Builders Concrete. However, even then, the plant had suffered a lot of wear and tear over the years.
