SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – Steve Reel, formerly Vice President of Knight’s Companies Redi-Mix Division, was recently promoted to the position of Redi-Mix Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Prior to Knight’s, Reel has an extensive background in the construction and concrete industry, having worked in high-profile roles for companies including Martin Marietta Materials, S.T. Wooten Corporation, Synagro Technologies, and Capital Ready Mix Concrete. His roles have expanded across Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Reel will play a significant role in advancing the company’s Business Intelligence capabilities to support more informed decision-making and continued growth. He will also work closely with leadership across Murray Mines – a Knight’s Materials company – to ensure strong alignment and coordination.
