Morgan Winningham, former HR Assistant at Knight’s Companies, was recently promoted to the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist, effective immediately.
In her new role, Winningham will attract, source and hire top talent aligning with the company’s needs, values and culture.
Winningham said that after spending time in her previous role as HR Assistant, she felt this new role was the natural next step in her career.
“I’ve grown to love the company, its culture and the people here,” she said. “I really enjoy building connections and helping others, which aligns perfectly with Talent Acquisition.”
Winningham is a proud Charleston native and attended Cane Bay High School. She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Digital Commerce.
Following her graduation in 2022, she worked as a Social Media Marketer for Charleston Women and Mount Pleasant magazines before working as a Front-Of-House Manager.
Winningham said she is “excited, grateful and eager to get started” and is looking forward to attracting talented individuals to join the Knight’s team.
While she’s already taking on numerous responsibilities, she will continue to perform a small amount of HR Assistant tasks while the company searches to fill this role.
When she’s off the clock, Winningham is a seasoned traveler and has visited Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Mexico, Belgium, Amsterdam and Paris. She also loves thrifting, going on adventures with her girlfriends and making lasting memories by visiting different cultures.
