AIKEN, S.C. – Knight’s Companies recently hired Matt Dale as its newest Account Manager for the Aiken/Augusta market.
In his new role, Dale will be responsible for selling and promoting Knight’s Redi-Mix in the new Aiken/Augusta market. This includes meeting potential clients and looking for additional clients within the market.
Dale attended Banks County High School in Georgia before attending Augusta University (formerly Augusta State University) on a golf scholarship and lettered four years. He moved to the Augusta region in 2004.
Dale has worked a diverse range of jobs prior to Knight’s. Following college, he started work in real estate but was quickly recruited into the insurance industry by State Farm, where he worked numerous roles before starting his own individual insurance agency with his family. At the same time, he would occasionally work alongside his family on concrete projects.
The COVID-19 pandemic gradually hurt his insurance business, which pushed Dale into the concrete/grading world full-time.
“I plan on jumping into and really learning the redi-mix business,” he said. “It’s so exciting to spearhead the Knight’s expansion into this new market.”
When he’s not selling concrete, Dale enjoys attending his son’s basketball and baseball games and his daughter’s dance competitions. He also coaches the varsity basketball team at Augusta Christian Schools.
