COLUMBIA, S.C. – Joshua Gainey, a longtime South Carolina resident, was recently hired as the new Area Fleet Manager for the Midlands region at Knight’s Companies.
Originally from Lugoff, Gainey was hired to oversee the Midlands fleet of equipment in addition to supervising the parts and service teams in the region.
Prior to Knight’s, Gainey worked as a service manager, supervisor and technician for several heavy equipment and truck dealerships. He also worked in law enforcement for the City of Columbia for seven years.
Some of his initial goals include creating consistency between his various branches at Knight’s, promoting proactive service procedures to increase availability of equipment and building a strong team to represent company values.
When he’s not at work, Gainey loves spending time with his wife and four kids. He also loves attending as many concerts as possible, hiking or biking the countless trails around the country, hitting the gym or cooking a variety of delicious meals.
