Otis is a graduate of both Holly Hill High School & Trident Technical College with a degree in Civil Engineering. His 40 years in the cement and concrete industry started as a lab technician and Assistant Chemist with Giant Cement Co. Otis began his 25 year career in sales with Gifford Hill Chemical division in Charlotte, NC and continued in sales & sales management with Concrete Supply, Metromont Materials, & Cabarrus Concrete companies in the Charlotte area. Otis moved back to his native South Carolina, joining Knight’s Redi-Mix in 2003.

Otis has served as president & board member of the Carolinas Chapter of the A.C.I. (American Concrete Institute), served on the AGC Supplier/Service Advisory Board, Technical Committee member and 20 year member with the CRMCA (Carolinas Ready Mix Concrete Association), & former member of ASTM and PCEA (Professional Construction Estimators Association) organizations.

Otis spends his free time with hobbies that include the company of family and friends, a love of college sports, and the challenge of another hole in one on the golf course.

A Charleston native and James Island High School graduate, Gregg Oltmann brings 10 years construction sales experience to the Knight’s Companies sales team. A certified pervious concrete installer, ACI certified, and an NRMCA certified concrete sales professional, Gregg was also the 2004 CRMCA chapter coordinator of the year.

While not at work, Gregg volunteers for the city recreation department, coaching basketball, baseball, & football. Gregg, Susan, and their children Shelby & Hunter enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, and college football.

Davis Weed joins the Knight’s Companies team with 6 years experience in construction sales. A Mount Pleasant native and Wando High School graduate, Davis continued his education receiving an Associates degree from Anderson College in 1987. Outside of work, Davis his wife Jackie and their two children Hunter & Haley enjoy boating, college football, and Atlanta Braves baseball.

A native of Spartanburg, SC, James joined Knight’s Precast in 2001 bringing 40 years of Precast sales experience to the team. James is a member of the Cattle Creek UMC, Mason’s, and the NPCA. In his spare time James enjoys working on his small farm in Orangeburg County and hunting.

Born and raised in Summerville, SC.; Tyler is a graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor of arts in Communication Studies and a minor in sociology. He began his career with Knight’s Companies in May 2006 with the Redi-Mix division as a plant manager. In February of 2007 he moved into the Redi-Mix dispatch office as an order entry specialist and inside sales rep. In August 2008 Tyler was promoted and now works as an outside sales representative for Knight’s Companies.

When not working, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife Leslie, family/friends, fishing, scuba diving and Clemson athletics.

Todd Phillips journey started at West Virginia University where he majored in Business Administration. After college, he took an entry level position in the Precast industry. Todd at one time or another has worked in every position in the manufacturing of Precast products. This has helped him to understand each aspect of day to day operations. In September of 2004, Todd joined Knights Precast as a Salesman and Estimating Manager. With him he brought 18 years of precast experience. As a proud member of the NPCA, CAGC, and ASA, Todd frequents many of their events and enjoys the networking with clients that they provide.

When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife of 9 years, NASCAR, playing fantasy football and trying to keep that little white ball out of the woods and in the fairway.
