Michael Knight

Pete Johnson, General Manager of Knight’s Precast, began his precast experience in 1992 as a dispatcher, design tech, and production scheduler. Pete’s parents always knew he was interested in construction as a young child, where in turn graduated with a degree in civil engineering at Trident Technical College. Pete owes his dedicated hard working traits to his parents that encouraged him to start his working days as a newspaper delivery boy at the age of 8. If Pete is not burning the midnight oil, he enjoys vacationing and camping with his children Stasha and Tyler. Other means of enjoyment are a weekly night of shooting billiards, attempting to minimize his handicap at golf, taking in live music concerts, and sporting events like baseball, football, and hockey.

Chuck Layton

Chuck has been involved in the construction industry since 1976. He started with Knight’s Companies in 1991 as a contract carpenter. He then went on to erect our first Redi Mix Plant in 1995. In 1996, Chuck surrendered his life to Christ and came back with a new agenda. He now puts forth his effort and God given skills to complete tasks assigned to him while trying to be a light for the Lord Jesus.

Since 1997, Chuck has headed up the opening operations for Knight’s Precast and completed necessary education to take possession of an unlimited general contractor license. This has enabled him to complete all Knight’s Companies building expansion efforts as an in house General Contractor.

Chuck gives credit for all of his accomplishments to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
