Bud was born and raised in Summerville, SC. He established Knight’s Septic Tank Service in 1969 with one pumping truck. He is currently the C.E.O. of Knight’s Septic Tank, Knight's Precast, Knight's Redi-Mix, Knight’s Trucking and Knight’s Block. Bud is a member of the following local charities and/or organizations: Summerville and Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, Exchange Club, Mason’s, Shriner’s, Rotary Club, Children in Crisis, Lyons Club and University of South Carolina Gamecock Club. Bud has 6 children and 15 grandchildren all of Summerville, SC. He currently resides with his wife, Peggy, on a small farm with 2 horses, many Black Angus Cows, and Jake, his Boykin Spaniel. He attends Heritage Holiness church in Summerville. He enjoys watching racing, football, spending his time with his family & friends, and lounging around on his boat at Ripley’s Point.

Michael B. "Pete" Knight was born and raised in Summerville, SC. Pete grew up assisting with the family business, Knight’s Septic Tank, Knight’s Precast, and Knight’s Redi-mix. After graduating from Summerville High School in 1999, Pete took on a new role as President of Knight’s Precast and Knight’s Redi-mix. After successfully overseeing these two companies, he felt the need to expand his knowledge and Knight's Companies by establishing Knight’s Concrete Products, DBA Knight’s Block in 2004. Pete plays an active roll in the local community through his membership of the following organizations: Masonic Lodge #234, Omar Shrine of Mt. Pleasant, Summerville Exchange Club, Dorchester County Chamber and Berkeley County Chamber. Pete resides in Summerville, SC with Nikki, his daughters Kaylee and Kendall, and his mini daschund, Dottie. When not working, you’ll often find Pete at the race track overseeing his Hooter’s Pro Cup team. He enjoys watching racing, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael was born and raised in Summerville, SC. While growing up, Michael assisted his father, Michael E. “Bud” Knight Sr., with the family business, Knight’s Septic Tank Inc., which he now serves as its president. Michael currently resides in Summerville, SC with his wife Donna and 3 children; Ryan, Nicole and Caitlyn. Michael is a member of the Summerville Masonic Lodge #234 and the Omar Shriners of Mt. Pleasant. When he’s not working, Michael enjoys hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

Knight’s Companies general manager Craig Turner began his career in the construction business in Greenwood, South Carolina in 1988. After a 10 year stint with a building supply company, Craig moved on to purchasing, then sales, covering the Columbia South Carolina territory. Finding his niche interacting with concrete producers led him to Knight’s Redi-Mix. Moving from residential to commercial sales, to the development of Knight’s Block in 2004, Craig is now in charge of Knight’s Companies Redi-Mix, Precast and Block divisions. Craig and his wife Frankie have three children: Tori, Graham, and Coleman, who all enjoy golf, college football, and camping.

Chuck has been involved in the construction industry since 1976. He started with Knight’s Companies in 1991 as a contract carpenter. He then went on to erect our first Redi Mix Plant in 1995. In 1996, Chuck surrendered his life to Christ and came back with a new agenda. He now puts forth his effort and God given skills to complete tasks assigned to him while trying to be a light for the Lord Jesus.

Since 1997, Chuck has headed up the opening operations for Knight’s Precast and completed necessary education to take possession of an unlimited general contractor license. This has enabled him to complete all Knight’s Companies building expansion efforts as an in house General Contractor.

Chuck gives credit for all of his accomplishments to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Kevin Cox with wife Melissa and their children are active members in the South Carolina community. Kevin joined the Knight’s team in 1999 as a dispatcher. He continued his career as Quality Control Manager in 2002 and Operations Manager from 2006 to 2007. Kevin was promoted to his current role as General Manager of Knight’s Redi-Mix in 2008. A graduate of Limestone College with a BA in Psychology, Kevin is also certified in concrete/material design, testing, and applications through ACI, NRMCA, and SCDOT. Kevin’s history in the concrete production industry helps Knights’ Companies produce cutting edge, quality products and adds extensive knowledge of concrete construction to the team.

Todd Phillips journey started at West Virginia University where he majored in Business Administration. After college, he took an entry level position in the Precast industry. Todd at one time or another has worked in every position in the manufacturing of Precast products. This has helped him to understand each aspect of day to day operations. In September of 2004, Todd joined Knights Precast as a Salesman and Estimating Manager. With him he brought 18 years of precast experience. In March of 2006 Todd was promoted to General Manager of Knight's Precast. As a proud member of the NPCA, CAGC, and ASA, Todd frequents many of their events and enjoys the networking with clients that they provide.

When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife of 9 years, NASCAR, playing fantasy football and trying to keep that little white ball out of the woods and in the fairway.
